Update – November

I’ve neglected to post lately, so here are a few observations and other things I wish I had shared earlier:

  • Congrats to the BOSOX! They were AWESOME with the sweep!
  • Me and EJD met Kevin Smith at the opening of the Prudential Center in Newark. And, mr. photographer, me, forgot the battery for my P5000. For those of you who are hardcore fans, he was wearing his trench coat. I thought he’d be taller.
  • Speaking of the Prudential Center, its a beautiful building. We took the PATH train from Harrison and it was a quick ride. It’ll be a cold walk in the winter, but overall its worth it. My only gripe is that they could’ve had even more food concessions… Is this new arena working? Not so sure, I was watching the game tonight and it looked half full (I’m an optimist!). And, lower level tickets are going for 30% less on ebay already. Oh, and a solid win by the Devil’s tonight!
  • I’ll be writing a review on my new Sigma 70-200 f2.8
  • I just got done helping the guys over at DivePhotoGuide.com with their redesign effort. Glad I could help out a fellow OldTimer!
  • Adobe released a new version of their Flash Media Encoder this week and I’m very thankful for it. It is making flash streaming a bit easier for us to deal with
  • This was the last week of the Rutherford Farmers Market and I will for sure miss the Pumpkin Whoopie Pies.
