I’m back and in the saddle again.  Email me for a password to my pics, hidden to protect the innocent.  The trip was fun, we were in the middle of nowhere but it was a good time.  I like to post observations in a bulleted list:

• Driving was not as bad as I thought it’d be.  But beware in japan, tolls are high, gas is expensive and its opposite side!
• My Nuvi is awesome – I downloaded some Japan maps for $100 and they worked like a charm.  And they weren’t made by Garmin but by another independent developer.  Kewl deal!
• I’ve seen more snow in the past week than I’ve seen in the past 3 years.
• The Northwest WorldClub at Narita is the best I’ve ever seen!
• Why hasn’t the sars-mask craze taken hold here at home?
• Tokyo isn’t easily accessible by any Narita Airport hotel, FYI.
• Sake + beer = disaster.
