25 Things About Me
This was posted on Facebook by… well, everyone. I fell for it too. I put thought into it so I added it here on my site as well:
Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you.
(To do this, go to “notes” under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 people (in the right hand corner of the app) then click publish.)
1) I have one simple goal: Make every year surpass the year before it. Every decision I make revolves around accomplishing that goal.
2) I have an uncanny ability to pick stock movements but I have no ability to judge when to exit.
3) My first car was an ‘88 mustang 4 cylinder that had holes allowing gas to seep in. We called it “Auschwitz on wheels”
4) Some of my siblings put me in a trunk and in a hamper – revenge will be mine when they hit senility first!
5) I’m happy that 99% of people said it was a mistake to buy such a large house and we’ve been able to pull it off.
6) I have relationship anxiety with vehicles. I’m already plotting my next one before this one is paid off. And, I don’t think I can ever drive an automatic again.
7) I’m a brand whore. Nike, Oakley, Sony, Dell, Nikon, Continental Airlines, VW/AUDI. Stick with what works for you.
8) I wouldn’t turn in having a home office for anything but I eat, sleep and drink work 24/7/365. I’m not complaining, just laying it out there. My car has 3,000 miles over the past 2 years.
9) The best decision I’ve made so far was getting an apartment in North Arlington and then sticking around for everyone else’s holiday party. I met many of the people I tagged that night and obviously that one special someone!
10) I am convinced that history will look on George W Bush much more kindly than his contemporaries did. I voted for him twice and am very proud of that.
11) The #1 skill that anyone and everyone should learn is how to power negotiate. You’ll never make more money (or whatever you are after) via any other method.
12) If it takes 10 years to be an outlier, I’m coming up on magic hour, and I’m ready for the challenge.
13) I’m not an artist but I feel I’m visual, which is perhaps why I love taking photos so much.
14) I’m huge on goal setting and task management. I’m also huge on leaving items off my list when I don’t care enough about them…
15) God gave us this amazing rock to live on – it’s one of our human responsibilities to see/experience as much of it as possible.
16) The most amazing place I’ve been to is Sydney, Australia. I had to pinch myself to believe I was really there. I can’t wait to go back!
17) I am not into cutting costs or saving till later what I can do now. If I want something, I buy it and then find a way to make the money to pay for it. Life is too short to penny pinch!
18) There is NOTHING wrong with demanding quality goods, services and products! I’ll upgrade my seat every time I can and a hotel isnt just a hotel.
19) If I had to renounce my US Passport, I’d go to Australia.
20) I am addicted with my blackberry – its the first thing I check when I wake up. Secretly, I’m mesmerized by the iphone despite making fun of it. There, I’ve said it.
21) When you take positions and make decisions, people won’t always like you afterwards. But that’s just the way it is.
22) My wife told me, when we first met, that despite being a right-winger, I was amazingly open-minded.
23) Anything in the world will present itself to you if you want it hard enough. I can give 10 personal examples if you are interested.
24) I want to someday own property in the Alps, preferably around Zermatt.
25) Three things I always take with me to NYC: A camera, purell, and a ticket back.
