OK, I’ll admit, I held up the flag. But it’s still a great shot and some minor post processing made this one of my favorites from a long weekend in Nashville.

I woke up early, unable to sleep and walked from our B&B across the street to this graveyard. The long shadows made for some of my favorite pictures ever – on a cold, crisp morning with no clouds in the sky, it was almost too easy.

The Meadowlands in Northern NJ is actually a growing nature preserve. All sorts of fish, birds and other wildlife are slowly returning.

My two summers in Siena were in my pre-digital days. I wish to go back with today’s far superior equipment and get some more great shots.
